This can result in a feeling of pressure or fullness in the pelvic area. Symptoms may include painful intercourse, low back pain, and urinary symptoms.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse may be a result of chronic straining due to hemorrhoids, hysterectomy , pregnancy and childbirth, or chronic constipation.

Whatever the cause, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy can help. We understand how difficult and emotionally distressing Pelvic Organ Prolapse can be. Our Physical Therapists have years of experience helping clients strengthen Pelvic Floor Muscles and support the Pelvic Floor Organs.
