About Susan Winograd

Susan is the owner and founder of Pelvicore Rehab & Wellness. Susan earned a masters degree from the College of Staten Island in 1998. During her almost 30 years of experience, she has gained extensive knowledge in the treatment of various populations such as orthopedics, manual therapy, geriatrics, pediatrics and men/women's pelvic dysfunction and treatment of the pregnant and postpartum women.

Susan Winograd, MSPT and founder of Pelvic Floor Rehab & Wellness, was honored to join The Big Picture podcast with hosts Andre and Lauren to discuss the critical importance of pelvic health and our integrative approach to patient care at Pelvic Floor Rehab and Wellness.

During this engaging conversation, Susan shared the professional journey that led her to specialize in pelvic health, underscoring the significant gaps that often exist in conventional care. We addressed a range of conditions affecting both women and men, from urinary urgency and incontinence to pain with intimacy, hormonal imbalances, and chronic pelvic pain.

Susan detailed our practice’s whole-body, biopsychosocial approach, which emphasizes identifying and treating root causes rather than merely managing symptoms. This includes comprehensive 90-minute assessments designed to truly understand each patient’s history, needs, and goals, as well as a commitment to individualized, evidence-based care.

The episode also introduced our Ask the Experts initiative, a monthly educational program dedicated to expanding access to reliable, expert-led health information in our community. Through this initiative and our clinical work, we strive to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to advocate for their health and achieve lasting wellness.
